Little Kudu is the wine bar and tapas sibling to Kudu Grill, sitting on the same Peckham stretch and carrying the same commitment to quality in a more intimate, relaxed setting. Where Kudu Grill is the main event, Little Kudu is the place you drop into for a glass of something interesting and a few plates to share.
We delivered the full build, from a striking wine wall that serves as the room's centrepiece, through to custom planters on the outdoor terrace and every fitting in between. The brief called for a space that felt effortless, which meant the construction had to be anything but.
Interior design by A-NRD Studio
Following the success of Kudu Grill, the owners wanted a companion space, somewhere guests could linger over natural wines and small plates without the formality of a full dining experience. The site was a compact unit on the same road, and every square metre had to work hard.
The wine programme was central to the concept, so the storage and display had to be both functional and beautiful. They also wanted an outdoor terrace that felt like a natural extension of the interior, not an afterthought bolted on.
We designed and built the floor-to-ceiling wine wall as the focal point of the room, a bespoke shelving system with a rolling ladder that stores hundreds of bottles while doubling as the main design feature. It is one of those elements that looks simple but required precise carpentry and structural support to get right.
The outdoor terrace was built with custom timber planters that define the space and soften the streetscape. Inside, we handled the bar fit-out, all electrics and plumbing, flooring, and the decorative finishes that tie the room together.
Having already built Kudu Grill, we understood the owners' standards and their way of working. That trust meant fewer meetings, faster decisions, and a smoother build.
